Onward: Maniotba is a website designed to help bring innovative startups and small companies the investor capital that they need.

The founder says: "Manitoba is bustling with innovation. Yet the problem historically seems to be that innovation tends to leave Manitoba because the province's investor infrastructure is old and risk-adverse. The solution then is to create the infrastructure to showcase these opportunities to investors both in and out of Manitoba to help support and fund innovation, ultimately making Manitoba a more prosperous province.
